Columbia Heights Village

EMPOWERING RESIDENTS THROUGH SOCIAL PROGRAMMING

Columbia Heights Village is a 406-unit, 31-building affordable housing community in Washington, D.C. that provides free social services programming designed to empower residents and help improve their quality of life. From youth summer camps and fitness classes to computer training and job placement programs, we provided the resources and support needed by residents to learn and grow. Even better, our innovative energy conservation program reduced operating costs, re-investing the savings into improved social services. Since taking over management in 2001, CRC achieved and maintained pro forma rents with occupancy levels consistently above 95%, which allowed for the subsequent sale and transfer of management services in 2018.

Services provided by CRC Property Management LLC, CRC Property Management West Inc., CRC Asset Management Services LLC, and/or other related companies.

The people I worked with for the past three summers are my true family. Without them I wouldn’t have graduated high school and I would not be going to college today.
— Domoniquie Ginyard, Columbia Heights Village Resident
I think that’s what this partnership is all about...people working together to accomplish common goals to make everyone’s life better.

— John Shanley, HUD Director of Multifamily Housing
